Rebecca Popp Stewart's Biography
Rebecca Popp Stewart is the Event and Venue Planner for the Sorensen Institute. She joined the Sorensen Institute full-time in June 2024. In this role, Rebecca’s primary responsibilities include logistical support and event planning for Sorensen’s various programs and coordination of the Sorensen director’s schedule.
Rebecca is an alumna of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and in Global Studies on the Environments and Sustainability track. While at UVA, she completed both a Religious Studies Distinguished Majors Project and a Global Sustainability Capstone, which focused on evangelical responses to climate change.
