Beth D. Rhinehart is President & CEO of the Bristol TN/VA Chamber of Commerce, a five-star accredited chamber representing nearly 600 businesses across the Bristol, Virginia–Tennessee region. Since joining the organization in 2015, she has led the Chamber’s work in economic advocacy, business engagement, and regional collaboration. Prior to her role at the Chamber, Rhinehart served for ten years as Director of Government Relations for Wellmont Health System, building key relationships and overseeing VA legislative initiatives impacting hospitals and healthcare policy.

Ms. Rhinehart has held numerous leadership roles in civic and statewide organizations. She was appointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin to the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority in 2023 and currently serves on the VA ED Strategies Board. Past leadership roles include serving on the board of the VA Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the GO Virginia Region 1 Council, Chair of the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, President of the Bristol TN/VA Rotary Club, and Chair of the Bristol TN/VA United Way Annual Campaign and Board. She previously served as Chairman of the Bristol Virginia Public Schools Board and has held appointments or board roles with the Virginia Early Childhood Foundation, the Commonwealth Council on Childhood Success and the Virginia Tobacco Commission. Rhinehart is also a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Committee of 100, representing the top chamber executives nationwide.

Rhinehart earned her B.S. from Mary Washington College, a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Science in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from King University. Her professional recognitions include the Certified Chamber Executive (CCE) designation, US Chamber Foundation’s IOM certification, the Virginia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Executive of the Year Award (2025), the King University Distinguished Alumni Award (2025), the Bristol United Way James W. McGlothlin Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Distinguished Citizen Award from the Boys & Girls Club of the Mountain Empire. A native of Bristol, Virginia, she remains deeply engaged in advancing regional economic opportunity and community leadership.
