The UIP is an academic internship program for undergraduate students at the University of Virginia. We offer hundreds of professional-practice internships in a wide variety of fields, and we are looking for bright and committed interns. A UIP internship will allow you to earn academic credit while refining your career goals, gaining work experience, and developing professional networks.           Sponsor intern matching by UIP

          Sponsors and interns notified of matching results via email

          Sponsors and interns conduct interviews

          Sponsors and interns independently notify UIP of decision to accept or
          decline sponsor-intern match
March 26, 2012 - April 13, 2012
          If match accepted, confirmation of matches prepared and processed for
          sponsors and interns
March 26, 2012 - April 20, 2012
          If match declined, rematches for interns and sponsors are initiated where
          and when possible
