Although the formal application period for the UIP Summer and Academic Year (fall 2010 and spring 2011) is closed, we continue to accept applications on a wait-listed basis for academic year internships.

If you are interested in an academic year internship, please complete an online application. We will contact you upon receipt of your application. In the meantime, all information and updates regarding waitlist status will be posted on the UIP website. It is your responsibility to check the website for new developments.

Please be advised that your waitlist status does not guarantee you an interview or placement in an internship for the Academic Year 2010-2011. Therefore, as a backup, you are advised to make alternate plans for course selections for the academic year.

SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR STUDY ABROAD STUDENTS and OTHERS WHO ARE ON THE UIP WAIT-LIST

If you were unavailable to participate in the UIP application and admission process during the spring and have been wait-listed for consideration for an academic year internship, please remember you must do the following:
- attend the Mandatory UIP Academic Year Orientation Session, August 23, 2010, 10 AM - 12:00 PM
- complete an in-person, one-on-one interview with a UIP Faculty member, August 23, 2010 during open office hours: 2:30 - 5:00 PM.
- schedule & complete an in-person, one-on-one field interview with your prospective UIP Internship Sponsor no later than Friday, August 27.
- enroll in the UIP seminar to which you were conditionally assigned.
