The Information Technology department provides technical support to the faculty and staff of the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service. This support encompasses hardware and software procurement, client desktop configuration and maintenance, server administration, troubleshooting, training, management of software licensing, database development, web development, security and data backup and recovery.

The IT staff interfaces with technology related vendors to provide networking and other outsourced IT services. As liaisons to the University’s Information Technology and Communications department, the IT staff represents the Center through participation in the Local Support Partners program and ensures that the Center’s IT efforts and initiatives are in coordination and compliance with University policy and programs.
