Tanya Wanchek is a health economist with a joint appointment in Public Health Sciences, where she teaches a course on Health Care Economics. She focuses on occupational licensure, rural workforce development, childhood obesity, and mental health law. She is also a faculty member of the Health Appalachia Institute at U.Va.'s College at Wise.
