The Weldon Cooper Center produces three sets of forecasts for Virginia's public school population:

• annual September 30 fall membership
  
• biennial high school graduation
  
• biennial average daily membership
  

The fall membership projections for the state and each school division are grade specific, and extend over a five-year forecast horizon. The high school graduate projections, also for the state and each school division, are produced on an alternating yearly schedule with the average daily membership projections.
