We produce annual population estimates at the state- and county-level, as well as annual estimates by age, sex, and race. These data tables are found on our Data page.

Additionally, our Reference section provides links to data from a variety of other sources including the U.S. Census Bureau, the Virginia Employment Commission, and the Virginia Department of Health.

The population estimates are produced annually for each non-census year. This document explains the data required to make the estimates and the methodology used to generate them.
