CSR releases Final Report on Prince William County's Illegal Immigration Enforcement Policy

On November 16, 2010, the Center for Survey Research released the Final Report from its three-year evaluation study of Prince William County's immigration enforcement policy, conducted in collaboration with researchers at the Police Executive Research Forum and James Madison University.

UVa Alumni Research Study

2011 Dan River Region Social Capital Survey Results

The 2011 Dan River Region Social Capital Survey was conducted by CSR in the spring of 2011. This telephone survey included 1,140 randomly selected individuals living in the City of Danville, Pittsylvania County and Caswell County, NC.

New research on including cell phones in telephone surveys

May 16, 2011

CSR presented results of its recent methodological research at the annual AAPOR meetings in May 2011. CSR is showing that survey costs can be lowered, without introducing serious error, if part of the telephone sample is drawn from telephone directories rather than being randomly dialed.

Weldon Cooper Center Inaugural Softball Game

The Weldon Cooper Center Inaugural Softball Game was a big success! Team First Floor captured the "Win" with a 12-7 victory over Team Second Floor. However, Team Second Floor is to be commended for a great comeback. Unfortunately, we didn't come out unscathed by injury - one broken arm, one broken foot, and one pulled muscle - oh and a few other aches and pains.
