Jefferson Area Community Survey

 Jefferson Area Community Survey (JACS)

Just Released: Swim for Life Report

The Center for Survey Research seeks area non-profit groups,
government agencies and academic researchers interested in placing one or
more questions on its bi-annual Jefferson Area Community Survey.

An omnibus survey conducted every spring and fall, with 900 respondents
from Charlottesville, Albemarle, Nelson, Greene, Fluvanna, and Louisa
counties, the JACS will be conducted for the sixth time in fall 2014. Customized questions directed at a portion of these respondents
(Albemarle County and Charlottesville alone, for example) are also
available. The JACS is conducted by telephone and the sample is designed to reach both landline and cellular telephone users.

For answers to frequently asked questions about the JACS, visit the webpages linked below. For more information or to initiate the placement of one or more questions on a forthcoming JACS, email Kate Wood at, or call 434-243-1088.
